College is full of new experiences, new questions, and new relationships. Our campus ministry is a place for both undergraduate and graduate students to gather each week, grow in their understanding of the Bible, and build friendships with other Christians.
We meet Thursday evenings from 7:30–8:45 PM at the Michigan Christian Study Center (611 1/2 E William St, Ann Arbor) for a time of worship, Bible teaching, and discussion. And there’s usually plenty of time for food and hanging out before and after, too.

Our Thursday Night Gatherings
Our regular Thursday night campus ministry is relaxed, welcoming, and centered on God’s Word. A typical evening looks something like this:
- Hang out and grab some snacks
- Worship
- Teaching from the Bible
- Discussion groups – talk through the teaching and Bible text
- Worship – close with one final song
- More snacks and hanging out
Additional Activities
We also make time to have fun together! We typically have about 2 events each month outside of our weekly Bible study. These are a chance to get to know each other, invite friends, and enjoy some time together outside of our normal routine. Past events have included:
- Pumpkin carving
- Bowling
- Trivia nights

Frequently Asked Questions
What is The Teaching Style?
Our campus ministry director, Eric, explains the meaning of the Biblical text and how it applies to modern life. Most semesters we work passage-by-passage through books of the Bible, but other times we will do a topical series.
For example, we’ve worked through the book of Philippians, and we’ve previously explored topics like “Processing Emotions in the Psalms.” Currently, we are working through Romans 1-6 for the fall semester.
The teaching is followed by discussion groups where we talk through what we’ve heard and look more closely at the Bible text together. It’s a chance to ask questions, share your thoughts, and think about how God’s Word applies to everyday life.
Where Does Campus Ministry meet?
We meet Thursdays at 7:30 PM at the Michigan Christian Study Center, which is located at 611 E William St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.
