Redeemer Ann Arbor’s Response to Current Coronavirus Situation

Sunday morning’s sermon will be “My Life in Christ is Hidden” from Colossians 3:3.  Obviously we will not be able to meet in our small groups for the next three weeks, but we will make the sermon available for you to listen to.

We are testing out hosting prayer meetings over Skype.  More information to come on that.

Although we cannot meet together as a church body for a few weeks, let’s take initiative with each other to stay in touch with each other and to pray with and for each other.  How sweet it will be when we can gather together again to worship and fellowship together!  Dinner tastes so much better when you have missed a couple meals, and we look forward eagerly to being together again.

In the meantime, let’s not focus on what has been taken away but rather on what opportunities God has given to each of us.  Each of us is in vastly different situations.  Do you have more time to read and pray?  Then be thankful and seek God in this time.  Are you placed in situations which require courage and faith, strength and perseverance?  Then glorify God by your faith in God in the midst of an uncertain environment and in front of a watching world (Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Eph. 6:10, and Joshua 1:6, 7, 9, 18).  Are you at home with all your kids?  Then glorify God by your patience and endurance (Romans 5:3-5).  God has a purpose for each one of us in our individual circumstances.

We are praying for you.
